When a student leaves the Philadelphia School District for a charter school, the system is left with nearly $5,000 in continuing costs, according to a report released Thursday.

Thank you for your gracious welcome and tour of The Mathematics, Civics and Sciences Charter School of Philadelphia Inc., in June 2008. My visit with you was a quality introduction to the Philadelphia approach and an informative opportunity to observe an academic model of instruction that is faithful to its mission. I wholly agree that all children can learn If! high levels.
